How to set a pop account in MS Outlook ?
To configure Outlook Express to send and receive emails, follow the steps given below :
- Go to Tools
- Go to Email Accounts
- Select option Add a new mail account & click on Next button
- Select option POP3 & click on Next button
- In your Name enter the Display Name.
- In email id textbox enter the email id or pop id. (Enter the email id, for example, for admin@sitename.com)
- Enter the POP and SMTP server as mail.sitename.com.
- Enter the whole email id in the User name textbox and enter the password. (here it will be the whole email id).
- Click on More Setting Button.
- In the General Tab specify the mail account name & other user information as Organisation Name & reply address
- Go to Server Tab.
- Check the option My Outgoing Server (SMTP) Requires authentication. Click on OK
- Click on Next Button
- Click on finish.
